Who We Are
Katharine Salisbury MAVetMB MRCVS
Katharine qualified from the University of Cambridge in 1998 with a particular interest in large animal medicine. With over 25 years of experience in mixed practice, Katharine has built a reputation for honest, compassionate care. While her training was rooted in small animal work, her life has always been closely connected to the farming world - as the wife of a dairy farmer, she understands first-hand the pressures and priorities of the livestock industry.
Outside of work, Katharine is a keen runner and enjoys making the most of the countryside.
Jason Salisbury
Jason is the welcoming face at Whitegate and our resident tea maker. A lifelong dairy farmer, he brings years of hands-on experience, calm efficiency and a great sense of humour to the front desk.
When he's not manning the phone or refilling the treat tin, you'll often find Jason out on the River Orwell or with his faithful Collie friend Beau.
Toegther, Jason and Katharine own and run Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses with their son James.
